The whole purpose of exit planning is to increase the saleability and value of the business when the time comes to sell. By making the business more sellable, the owner enjoys a smoother sales timeline whilst achieving a higher sale price.

We operate on a monthly retainer basis, typically costing between $1,500 - $4,000 per month. When creating an exit plan, we outline our estimated timeline so you can calculate the overall expected cost. You will have clear growth goals that will allow you to predict the return on investment before undertaking any exit planning.

 

Depending on how much is to be addressed in the exit plan, we recommend 12-24 months to give you the greatest increase in value to your business. However, if there are only small adjustments to be made, we can sometimes achieve those in as little as 3 months. 

No. But in my experience working with businesses to increase their value ahead of a sale, I’ve seen many benefits of starting the sales process early via an exit plan. I believe you can approach exit planning with a very high degree of confidence that your business will be in a better position after doing it.
